George, in your opening post you say "was supposed to marry Sybil Rowswell" - I think that's the key to unravelling this.

On what basis was he supposed to have married her?

It was announced in a paper that That James Fox Bradley was going to marry Sybil Rowswell we are trying to find the marriage I think he went to prison and she dumped him. What do you say ???

George, when was it announced in a paper? Was it allegedly before or after his marriage to Catherine Minnie? I'm not seeing anything in the newspaper archives.

When/where was your Sybil Rowswell born?
