Chrissie2394 Report 17 Aug 2013 16:41

I have the following marriage details from parish records:

All Saints Brailsford, Derbyshire on 13th October 1875

Robert Baker full age bachelor labourer Brailsford Robert Allen Mason
Eliza Morley full age spinster - Brailsford Edward Morley Labourer
Witnesses: G M Brady & Fanny Coates

This is the first time I have come across the grooms father having a different surname to the groom, I'm presuming he was step-father?

As the ages are shown as full I don't have an approximate year of birth for Robert, Eliza was born in 1852.

I have found Eliza in the census but I am struggling to find Robert.

Can anyone help please.
