If you have a look here you will find contact details for Bereavement Services for the Mansfield District.:-

It says they hold burial details so should be able to help with a possible plot number or cremation details.

Hi Folks, Any help please.
My Wifes Uncle Stephen Jones b 1917 married Gladys Phillips. They lived in Pontygwieth S/Wales, Gladys died in the 1980s, Stephen was moved from Wales to Nottingham area in very poor health, we have tried our selves to find out were his last resting place his, to no avale.
