I am trying to find out any info on a child that was born to Fanny Jane Batchelor, in either Lincolnshire or Nottinghamshire between 1907 and 1909. At the time I believe Fanny was working for a family (as a domestic service) who were based in Navenby, Lincolnshire. I don't whether the child was a boy or girl. I have come across approx 10 possibilities, but as they don't mention the mother's name I don't know whether these are the right ones.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards, Yvonne

Have you tried tracing the possible children you found to see which appear on the 1911 census.
You can then rule out the ones with mother other than Fanny

Dear All,

Fanny was born in 1879 in East Barkwith, Lincolnshire. Her parents were Robert Brooks Batchelor and Sarah Elizabeth Batchelor (nee spencer). I found her in the 1901 census (as above), but haven't managed to locate her in the 1911 census yet. I'm just guessing the dates when the baby was born; she had my grandmother in 1911 and my great uncle in 1914, both of which had no father's name on their birth certificates. I received info from Nottinghamshire archives, about when my grandmother was born, to say that she had had 1 previous labour.
Annie Batchelor was Fanny's older sister who was born in 1876.
Both my grand mother and great uncle were 'fostered/adopted' (although not officially) when they were about 6 and 4 years old respectively. Both children were born in Bagthorpe Infirmary (Nottingham Union Workhouse).
Mike - thanks for the thought about tracing the children on the 1911 census; I'll give that a go and see what I get.

Thanks to all.

Yvonne

'1 previous labour' does not necessarily mean that there was a live birth

Of the people for whom Fanny was working in 1901, Diana Rollitt died in 1907, and Thorp was living elsewhere in 1911, with his own list of servanrts
