There appears to be a record showing that Ernest George Harding got married in Wandsworth in june quarter 1910. Putting in the vol and page number usually brings up an even number of people so you can pair them up.
In this case the record shows 3 people
ERNEST GEORGE HARDING 1d 919
SARA LOUISA SMITH 1d 919
ALBERT JOHN WEBB 1d 919

Who married Sara Smith? anv suggestions?
thanks
Ken

Look for the men in 1911 census.........see who their wives are...........

You can't 'pair up' marriages pre-1911 without looking at the subsequent censuses..........unless they happen to have taken place in an area where the pairing-up has been done for you by transcribers.

...... as on the parish records posted which have paired up.

Incidentally the
two marriages above followed one another in the parish records book so both in the same church.

Events on the same GRO page are always taken from the same register - so from the same subdistrict register in the case of births and deaths, or the same church rego in the case of marrs. However, if the rego in question is the registrar's own rego in the case of marrs, then this rego also covers non-conformist marrs where there is no approved person so the registrar would have to attend to record the marr in his rego (like RC marrs in 1910) - these marrs could be mixed in with the rego office marrs which form the bulk of his entries.
