Orp Dragon was a ship given to the Polish by the British to form a Navy.
All I know about Jan is that he possibly had red hair and silver teeth.Not much to go on really I know.

LOL - well, I did have second thoughts after posting and running! :-D

So from that link anytime between 1939 - 1944 assuming that there weren't Free Polish navy sailors in WW1 when it was launched.

More info needed from Richard please :-D

Is this the Operation you mean or was it a vessel?

Operation Dragoon was the Allied invasion of southern France on 15 August 1944, during World War II.

The only Operation Dragon result was in 2010

On a quick scan, there is no mention of Free Polish forces in the WW2 Opr Dragoon, but of course if they were only a small force in the scheme of things, its not surprising
