Can anyone find any information regarding parents please. MS moved to England, date unknown and married Forrest Embling on 20/11/1945 in a roman Catholic Church Aylesbury Bucks. Her age on the certificate is shown as 27, slightly at variance to death certificate that shows died Aug 1992 with DOB, 20/04/1917 which would have made her 28 on marriage date. Father is shown as Patrick Scales deceased, I cannot read the occupation. MS was a mental health nurse as was Forrest although serving in Army at time. The ennis connection is from family memory, but believed correct.

I did find a record in the Irish civil registration births index 1864-1958, of a Margaret Scales born 1914, 2nd qtr, Ennnstimon, volume 4 page 201, film 101075, no other details viewable on line.

Thank you

Graham

Thanks Reggie, I did from your earlier link and I am aware of a possible sibling called Mary which ties in too.

I wish I could read Patrick's occupation on the marriage cert, may have to show to local transcribers who are more used to reading. I see This Patrick was a Hotel Asst, on the marriage cert my best guess is LAU--Y D----N

Could be Laundry which would be a hotel job

Thanks again, really appreciate the links
