DET I'm assuming you don't know what the 'D' stands for? I can see it doesn't say the middle name on the reg for birth or marriage... might it be on the birth cert for the daughter though? which would help with the death, there's

Daisy is used within the Hopping family, but then Doris did become popular in the Edmonton area around the time of her birth!

Hi DET yes looking at a tree on Ancestry ( probably yours lol) it has a sister Daisy to Ernest, so that could be the death with Daisy as middle name, if you can see where daughter lived/ married it might suggest that she lived where death of her mum occured?

LOL - you're probably right about the tree ;-)

I'll have a look to see if I can find the daughter somewhere. When it comes to 'living' relatives that distant - the daughter is a third cousin - I don't normally go any further.

I'd attached a 1924 ER to Ernest at the Colville Road address, so that does tie in with the Irene (Daisy as a middle name) Thompson death.

Emily Maud was Ernest's wife and Hilda May was another of his daughters.
