Am looking for a Belgium family who dad was billeted with during the war.
Daughter, Marie-Therese, son, Curly-Oliver. Father Frans. Wife could be Irma.
Son was born during the war and Marie Therese looks about 2-3 years old on photo. Surname is either....Sonck, Lonck.
I think that they lived " Kerksken Driehock. Jost-Vlaandersen. Belgie.
My reading of this writing maybe way out!
Thought it would be a good shot in the dark!
Thanks.
anne.

Kerksken is an area in the town of DRIEHOEK in the region of OOST VLAANDEREN (east Flanders) Belgium.

If you Google it as kersken driehoek oost vlaanderen you can get the google map.

Maybe you can get into one of the local telephone directories and look for the possible name. I expect the Town Hall might be able and willing to help you locate these people. Good luck.

I think and hope you have a very good chance of locating these people given the amount of information you have. If you can make contact with the Town Hall by e-mail, even in English, i'm sure they will be able to help you find the family if they still live in the district.

Thanks again Malcolm.
Having trouble with translation. Either La Mairie or L'Hotel de Ville.
Will keep trying though.
