Thank you both very much for your kind help.

I was hoping that the texts might give a clue to the names of the wife and child, - but alas! We can't win them all!

I much appreciate your help.

Kind regards
Victor

Victor Report 9 Aug 2013 10:35

I am trying to help an elderly friend with his Family History, and would be most grateful for assistance in finding the text of two articles published in local newspapers:

a) 28th April 1928, Essex Newsman: concerning a 'Charles Jenkins' (LNER Checker, Parkeston Quay) and alleged cruelty to his wife.

b) 16th May 1930, Chelmsford Chronicle: concerning a 'Charles Jenkins' (dock porter) and a summons for maintenance by his wife.

I have no other information on this man, other than that he and his wife appeared to be living in the same area of Essex as relatives of my friend, to whom he may have been related.

Thank you for any help.
Best Wishes
Victor
