Maureen, thanks for the 1874 date, I figured it had to be somewhere around there, the earliest I have them recorded in NZ is 1880, so maybe i can find out from the 1874 which ship they came out on.

Edit - This will give the fathers names but the tree on ancestry does give marriage date as 5th Feb 1859 so sounds like they have the cert

Hi, I have a marriage between George Newman and Ann Pike in 1859 in the Stockbridge area, can anyone help with the actual date? and also possible parents?

I am also looking for their birth records if possible, George sometime around 1838 and Ann around 1840 I think.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)
