Martha Ward (born Marton, Warwickshire,1807), daughter of Richard & Susannah (Abbey) Baskott of Marton.

She married John Ward in Coventry on 31 March 1833.
I have no further information about this couple or what became of them & it looks likely that John Ward died before the 1861 census (unless he is "away").

Can anyone find them in 1841 or 1851 as well please ?
Many thanks !

many thanks GlitterBaby, Mike * & Maureen - your help is very much appreciated.

Unfortunately this surname is quite common & it is possible that Martha remarried...i will continue the search !

Hi Mike *
I've just had a quick look on Familysearch & it 'looks likely' that the couple you found could be Joseph Ward & Martha Rogers (1805 - 1877) - married in Coventry at St.Johns on 23 October 1827....at least i can rule-out this couple now !

It now also 'looks likely' that John Ward died in Coventry in either 1851 (after the census) or 1852...with Martha following in 1862 (no obvious remarriage).

Thanks again everyone for helping !
