My great aunt Florence Serjeant was born in Ballarat, Australia in 1885. She emigrated to South Africa in the early 1900s with her parents, two sisters and two brothersand I believe she ultimately became Florence Simons - I believe she had a daughter, Elizabeth Simons in about 1905.
I think she died in Cape Town in the 1960s and am trying to find out anything I can about her family and what happened to them. My grandmother, Mabel Elizabeth Serjeant, her sister, died in Durban, South Africa in 1973 but she never spoke much about her sister and family.
