It depends when she was there, as to where the records would be.

Up to 1865 they appear to be at Royal College of Psychiatrists, and for up to 1887, at the Wellcome Library .

I would think that if any records are still surviving, they would be held at the London Metropolitan Archives.

Better ring to check before going there.

Try googling, there are several hits for the Asylum, including answers that may help on genealogy forums

An ancestor of mine was at one time an inmate of Camberwell House, does anyone have an idea on how I can get more information as to why she was there and possibly her records. Thanks.
