Thanks Choccy. These look interesting and I'll investigate. I have a slight issue with the marriage record as the spelling is Nelly rather than Nellie - which we know to be the right version. Hoever, the spelling on the death record has the correct spelling, and is the correct birth date - linke wioth 'married' surname of Wilson.

Nellie Kathleen WOOD: Born in Waltham Kent, 2nd September 1909. I have a late 1930 letter by her saying "I'm going to India in the New Year for a time but not for good." (i.e. in 1931). Have tried one or two Passenger lists, but still cannot establish for sure IF she went and IF she came back - or went on to marry and die abroad, in India, Australia or New Zealand. Have traced a UK marriage possibility - now discounted (and a death record in the UK - unsubstantiated). Please help if you can?
