Di you have a copy of her marriage cert ... and does it show her fathers name and occupation ..... if not I suggest you purchase a copy ..... to ensure you follow the correct line back ... when it is a common name

Just in case the census is correct .... you may find this link useful -- it is not complete .. but you can always email them .....

Renes I got that information from the Free BMD but I think it also lists Dishforth as well as other places as been part of the Ripon parish. My Aunt remembers something about her been brought up on a farm but as my Aunt was only a young girl at the time she isn't so sure.

Hi Astra, Elizabeth married Charles Leatham in 1922 Ripon. Their children were Eveline, Gurtrude, Amy, Rose, Freda and Edward.

This could be her birth. Her birth certificate would give you more info.

Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

Hello, I'm looking for some help.
I'm trying to find the parents and siblings of my great-grandmother. She is Elizabeth Ann Wright b.1900 Ripon. I have been trying but without success so far, so any help would be great.
