Brilliant, thanks everyone. I wasn't that familiar with Frederick and having visited Ypres for 11/11 last year I'm disappointed I missed seeing his memorial - but glad to have all this information now. He only married my great-great aunt in December 1917 and she gave birth to their only child in September 1918.

The War Graves Photo Project have photographed his name on the panel on the memorial where he is commemorated. He has no known grave
