Robert Perridge born c1796, Northamptonshire with a wife names Mary (possibly born c1791, Newnham, Northants.)

Children: Thomas baptised on 4/12/1816
William baptised on 14/02/1818
Susannah baptised on 9/12/1821

All the above children baptised at Newnham and it's possible Susannah married Thomas Gibbins in Daventry District in 1844.

Hmmn, tis all rather confusing. Just found the notes I made when I had a sub at Ancestry regarding this family.

Robert Perridge married Mary Russell 18th November 1811 in Newnham, Northants.

Think I found Thomas in 1841, living in Newnham and working as a Labourer, but can't find him after that.

Can't see anything of William or Susannah though.

The more I look for Robert and Mary, the more convinced I am that they and Willliam died pre-1841 Census as well as before registration began. Hopefully will be able to confirm that when me and Uncle go to Northamptonshire in a couple of weeks.

That Leeson family Susannah and William are with in 1871 could well be relatives on Mary's mother's side. If I'm on the right track, Mary would be the daughter of Daniel Russell and Ann Whiting. Ann Whiting had a sister, Sarah. Past research has shown Sarah married a Samuel Lesson and had at least 7 children and died in 1835, aged 85. Perhaps William is the grandson of one of the 5 boys Samuel and Sarah had together.

Looks like me and Uncle had a lot of researching to do,
