I have Edward Thomas c1791 Denbigh Clwyd Wales and Mary Roberts c1791 also Denbigh Clwyd Wales.
Their son was John Thomas c1821 Llangollen and Mary Unknown c.1822 Llangollen - which I have on my tree
Is there any way to find the ancestors of Edward Thomas and Mary by any chance..

Not unusual names but found this ( married at aged 13 ???)

Thanks for your reply, I do have Edward Thomas and Mary Roberts and I think that this might be a bit of a minefield trying to sort it out, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that you can find Edward's father .

If your info is correct you can discount the above.
Looks like this is the couples marriage and John's father is not Edward

Spouse's Name:Mary Cornforth
Spouse's Father's Name:Samuel Cornforth
Marriage Date:25 Dec 1840
Marriage Place:Sedgley, Staffordshire, England

Where did you get Edward and Mary's names and DOB from ?
The family you identified in 1861 are not linked to Edward

Your post appears that this last reply as it isn't as it seems - sorry ... They came over to the West Midlands, but this isn't what I was looking for as I would like to find the father of Edward and Mary and any other ancestors that can be found.

I don't understand.

You are looking for the ancestors of Edward and Mary Thomas but according to the marriage of John to Mary Cornforth, John's father was John not Edward
