Hi, I need some help please!
I have tried to trace siblings of my Great Grandfather Frederick Hayden, born in Leeds, Yorks, 1875.
I have located him in the 1911 Census living in West Ham with his wife Kate, and children Jessie, Kathleen and Thomas (my granddad). Frederick's occupation is listed as an Asylum Attendant.
Going back through the earlier Census, I have found a Frederick Hayden, born in Doncaster, with siblings and parents however their occupations differ. This Frederick worked as a Telegraph Instrument maker, and in 1911 was married to a Rhoda.
I have been unable to locate 'my' Frederick in earlier census.
I thought I had tracked down a decendant of who I thought were Frederick's siblings only to be told that my information related to the other Frederick who, my contact has informed me, had no children.
Where then was my Frederick before 1911?!
Very frustrated as my mum died a few years ago and my uncle has limited information.
Thank you!
