i'v been looking for my Ancestor George Whitehall. Scottish Census say he was born in Foleshill Warwickshire c1806. He moved to Perth in Scotland and married Christina McAlpine from Edinburgh in 1826. He was a soldier in the 73rd Foot H.M. 2/3 Reg. He later became the Town Crier and Drummer in Perth as was his son also George. grateful for any help. Thanks Margaret |
