I am looking for the whereabouts of Gertrude Tate b 1878 Halifax, Yorkshire in 1911. I know that she was a nurse and lodging in Birstall with Elizabeth Chadwick Sands in 1916. She may be living with her sister Nellie b 1883, Halifax and who is also proving elusive. They have connections with Halifax, Leeds, Scarborough and Whitby. Neither sisters married until 1921. A common mistranscription of their surname is Fate or Sate. |
