Lost Hanora CONOLE

Hi, This is the 1st time i have sent to this list. My 2xgreat grandmother was Hanora CONOLE who in c1840's married John MCNAMARA in Co Clare in Ireland. I know NOTHING of her & would love to find her parents & any siblings.Help Where is the best place to look?

Helen...I would suggest that her surname would be Connolly/Coneely or
similar ....(spelling can be altered dramatically over the years)

You need to work back from your own family and ask how you know they came from the Co Clare...do you have any documentation/anything that may narrow down exactly where to search....
Did the couple stay in the Co Clare....?

This is what I searched for and sure enough three possible with the exact same spelling came up

Hanora CONOLE

Gins ...Could still be a "possibility" ...the Mcnamara surname is a Co Clare surname but Connelly (variants) less so....You also have the surname spelled with a "K"..eg Keneally
Will need for Helen to get back with what she has on the grandparents /g.grandparents....otherwise it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack.....
