Can anyone work out Florence's maiden name? I'm actually trying to track down my great grandmother which just might be the visitor listed.

I know she was born c1877, was just widowed in the last few weeks before the census and was married in October 1902. I don't know where she was born as I've been unable to find her on previous census records.

1911 England Census about George Anderson
Name: George Anderson
Age in 1911: 44
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1867
Relation to Head: Head
Gender: Female
Birth Place: Bootle, Lancashire, England
Civil Parish: Acton
County/Island: Middlesex
Country: England
Street Address: 17 Fairlawn Court, Acton Lane, Chiswick Park W
Marital Status: Married
Occupation: Gentleman
Registration District: Brentford
Registration District Number: 128
Sub-registration District: Acton
ED, institution, or vessel: 21
Household Schedule Number: 48
Piece: 6972
Household Members:
Name Age
George Anderson 44 Bootle, Lancs
Florence Anderson 39 Carrick Fergus, Antrim, Ireland
Cyril Anderson 16 Belfast, Antrim, Ireland
Mrs. Ferguson 35 Carrick Fergus, Antrim, Ireland

I'm hoping the maiden name could be Murray.

Thanks,

Rose

Mrs Ferguson is noted as sister-in-law, and a widow .......... married 8 years certainly fits your scenario!

have you found a marriage for George and Florence??

or have you found them in the 1901 census???

Hi Sylvia,

I looked for a marriage on Familysearch but didn't see one. Couldn't see Cyril's birth either.

I have very little info. on my great grandmother. Both times she married her father was listed as Edward. My mother thinks she may have Irish. She married later and had my grandfather.

IF they married in Ireland, that could account for the fact that you couldn't find the info om familysearch.

Why don't you change the title of the thread to birth of Cyril Anderson, Antrim, ad see where that might take you???
