Births Please look at bottom of thread

The info I've been given below Makes me sure this is my ancestor
According to Manchester Archives the info for Fanny are on Find my Past which will give her address what she died of and possibly where the grave is
I'm not sure if the info Reggie gave me is from find my Past ?
But I would be grateful if some one could check it for me

Thank you

On ancestry a burial has come up for a Fanny Hornby 1861 April-Jun 8c 346
Chorlton Manchester

Is their any way of finding out where she was buried or anything about her ?

She could be mine but I've never been able to find a second marriage for her
she married in 1849 to John .Rodgers her maiden name was Greenall
in 1861 she was with John Hornby as wife and 4 son

Thank you

Yes that is the 1861 census I have

Henry was a Rodgers but not sure about the 2/3 sons
Foster my g gr grandfather took on the name Hornby
But I've not been able to find the in 1871 in 1881 Foster was married and his father John Hornby was living with them

It is pointing to this burial being Fanny's but I wanted to confirm it and see where she was buried

"On ancestry a burial has come up for a Fanny Hornby 1861 April-Jun 8c 346

That is not a burial........it's a civil death registration

As shown by the record from the LancsBMD site, the woman was 33 when she died.

Tallies with 1861 census

BUT.......buy the cert.....find out who registered the death

Trying to order a birth certificate for Frederick or Foster

In the 1861 census above their are 4 children

Henry 1850 >possibly Rodgers
Frederick 1854 ??
Foster 1856 ?? He took the name Hornby ?

I've seen the births listed before but because I want to order one I can't find them
I've looked at both surnames Hornby /Rodgers

Hoping another pair of eyes would help

Thank you
