Hi,I wondered if this might be too far back to get help.My G.G.G'Father,Joseph Liddle,b.c.1810,Butterknowle married Eleanor(Ellen)Myers,b.c.1813,Shildon?.They married in 1832 "by banns in church,Hamsterley".They appear in 1841 under the name "Little" living at Wham,Lynesack and Softely.I would like to know anything of Joseph's/Eleanor's Parents and/or siblings,if possible. |

Do you know which parish Butterknowle would have been in then? familysearch have images of Bishops Transcripts for Co Durham, but Butterknowle is not in the list of parishes. Hamsterley seems to be the nearest but at the moment the images will not load. You should be able to find the marriage there if you have not already seen the image. Do you know who the witnesses were? |
