Thanks for all this

I was following on from a few leads I had a few months back where I am trying to trace the Sayer family.
So far I have a John Sayer/Sayers from Bristol in 1891, 1901 and 1911 but nothing before this date (only a marriage but no birth). I noticed one of his daughters and the name Eliza May Hollier Sayer and I was trying to find any link between the Hollier and Sayer family. Its a long shot but I believe Edward Hollier and Eliza Hollier had a son called John born around 1862 (the same date I had down for John Sayer)

its a long shot but could John have changed his name from John Hollier to John Sayer later on in life!!!??

This is my last request :) but can anyone see Eliza Sayer in the 1861 census. It looks like she didn't get married to Edward until 1862

Thanks

Charlotte

Or is John Hollier in the 1891 census??

If he is then this will rule out my theory!
