Hi there, trying to find the baptism of my relative James Chapman.

I am working from his son John Chapman (Born 1825 in Ecclesfield, Yorkshire and buried in Wadsley in October 1872). John's wife was Lydia Rose and he seems to have been living with her family in the 1841 census.

He was a cutler like his father James Chapman (born c. 1805 in Ecclesfield, and died in Wadsley in in October 1866). John's mother and James' wife was Mary.

I suspect John's parents married in 1825 in Ecclefield. There is a marriage between a James Chapman and a Mary Lingard.

Can you help me find the the baptism of James, born c. 1805, who was also a cutler.

Could this be James on tha 1841 census? Although relationships aren't given on the 41 census he's with Ann not Mary but he is a cutler.
