A GR member has recently contacted me as her friend was seeking info about James and Sarah. The friend is descended from Eliza's sister. We have been emailing and as far as I can work out, she's my third cousin twice removed! So.......hope springs eternal!! |

Thank you for your responses. I had a quick search but not found anything - I know that Randall has also been shown as Randles but don't now if Sarah was married before she married my GG grandfather as she had a son. So, don't know if I have her maiden name. Also, whilst I'm not researching him, I had picked up the 1881 census info about the coachman and you never know, perhaps someone is and wondered about his landlord's family. Long shots sometimes pay off! |

I have recently discovered James was my great great grandfather from my great grandmother Eliza Eastwood's death certificate. Via Family Search I have found the household in the 1881 census - James, wife Sarah, stepson Stephen Randall and a lodger William Goodall. |
