Hello, Jan Wojciechowski married Betty Siggs in 1955 as far as I can work out. They appear to have had no children... A phone call my father has had from Heir Hunters (!!) seems to suggest otherwise... Can anyone check me for please, I've been through the FMP listings and can find nothing.. Thank you.

Betty was the daughter of Charles Siggs b.1894 (and Helen Watson) who was in turn the son of Joseph Siggs b.1855

Given his age and that he didn't marry Betty until 1955 he was quite likely married before so could have children from a previous marriage.

Rule out the Cook marriage in 1953 as she died in 1978 in chatham

Thanks, hadn't considered a previous marriage but the lady from heir hunters (they may have got it wrong) seemed to think this was a daughter of Charles Siggs that had 3 children of her own. As Betty's sister died after a very short life it had to be her. Of course, HH might have got the wrong Charles Siggs.. I'll let you know the outcome, thanks for your help.

I have this Jan as being born in 1912 and died 1990, it's a while since I did the research and I don't have access to records to prove that's correct at the moment..
