My grateful thanks to all who searched to trace Wilson George Archer, undoubtedly you found the right person for me. Thanks! I am so sad to find that he died in 1935 aged only 34. I wonder if he had any issue? Would be glad to know.

Hello Phyllis, couldn't see any marriage record for him and nothing in the newspapers.

If you go to your first post on here and click edit you can get back to your title - I'd suggest adding Australia to it. One of the researchers who has access to more Australian records may be able to find something.

I found this on Trove. May be interesting?

This is the lady who married John Fingland. As I read it, one of her sisters would be Mrs Wilson Archer??

Ok, I am barking up the wrong tree. I have found that there should be a comma between Wilson and Archer. Robert was known as Archer and Joseph was known as Noble.

That looked hopeful for a while, but no luck this time - thanks for looking anyway.I'm still hoping to find he married and had a family, and hope someone will find some info. I am very impressed with the information you have all posted so far - you are obviously far more clued up than me ! Thanks
