Dea, Chris - thanks...at least now I know it isn't me :-)

Chris thanks for the burial info; although I have Lucy's death I didn't have this.

(can see family, John's Lane 1871, looking around google, saw below, could be missing!)

Chris :)

1861 is missing completely, I cannot even find her brother and his family after much “walking up and down the census route” for 1861 and 1871. Johns Lane was newly built just before the census and, although it is on the 1861 enumerator’s list, there is no matching page. Furthermore, it would have been the last page of his district 21 and this page is full with no double line indicating the end of the house or district.

AAAhh - I hadn't refreshed the page - I now see that Chris has posted above that they did indeed live at that same address in 1862 and 1864 !!!!!

That is where your problem lies then Jude - the address is missing !

Sorry Jude - I have searched for the past 1 1/2 hours and I can say for certain that this family are not on the 1861 under any mistranscription imaginable - They should be in Tipton according to the children's births and I have looked through all of Tipton - they are not there !

I did look to see if they were at the same address in Tipton as they are in 1871 but that address is not there either !

I really think they are 'truly' missing from the census !
