This is the free copy of the passenger list - Wm is on line 4 at right. http://data2.collectionscanada.gc.ca/e/e244/e006086043.jpg However, the resolution's so low, you'll really need the Ancestry digitalization to read any details.

Birth of William junior:
Ontario, Canada Births, 1869-1913
Name: William Haizelden Date of Birth: 22 Apr 1913 Gender: Male Birth County or District: Wentworth Father's Name: William Haizelden Mother's Name: Florence Bayley Archive Name: Archives of Ontario Archive Series: MS929 Archive Reel: 244
Underneath his name is also written Eric so I guess William jnr on the voters list and Eric may be one and the same person.
He was born 62 William Street but the address of father William registering the birth on 05 May 1913 was 580 James North. William snr was a transfer agent.
Parents were married 1908 Liverpool.
EDIT: There's a 1996 phone directory entry for a W E Haizelden so guess his full name was William Eric.

Hello Collette, Ancestry also has this:
Canadian Passenger Lists, 1865-1935 Name: William Haizelden Date of Arrival: 9 May 1919 Vessel: Mauretania Port of Arrival: Halifax, Nova Scotia Port of Departure: Southampton, England Roll: T-14795
It looks like the Mauretania was being used as a troop ship to return soldiers to Canada. Details on the manifest say Sailing no 53 proceeding from Kinmel Park. They embarked 03 May 1919.
This is the additional info for William:
No = 240425 Rank = cpl Rgt or Cor = CGA Service Unit = 1 CE Orig Unit = 205 bn NOK = wife Residence = Hamilton
Some info on Kinmel Park
http://www.abergelepost.com/kinmel-park-camp.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinmel_Park_Riots
There are more articles on Google. Apparently there were riots in 1919 at the camp due to the delays in repatriating Canadian soldiers. Going by the date William sailed he would have been there when that happened.

You can search at: http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databases/cef/index-e.html
There are some service records online - less than 10% of soldiers at present is my guess - searching at the above link will get them as well as the attestation papers if they're already online. See also: http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databases/cef/001042-130-e.html#h
For Canadian WW1 dead, in addition to the CWGC site: http://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead.aspx also check out: http://www.veterans.gc.ca/eng/collections/virtualmem There is sometimes some extra stuff there. E.g., for my dad's cousin, it says:
There is a digital collection relating to CHARLES PATERSON MASSIE
with an embedded link that gets me a pic of Charles.
