Hi Thelma.

The James Bowling was from Scotland and I don't think that is the right father for Thomas Bowling about 1860. He did have a son Thomas 1859/60 but I am sure I have the right leads.

Thanks Mel - what's the GRO index? Can I buy any marriage certs from there providing I have names of course? I don't know the date of the marriage - I know it was 1915. It is getting confusing - need to sit down properly, when I have more time and write everything down... :-S
