Probate info is not enough for you to make assumptions.

Probate records name only the Executor(s)

You might find it worthwhile to buy a copy the Will....it may include instructions for the disposal of her remains

Thankyou - have already searched the cemetery near where she lived, only found her death today after finding another marriage for her in 1946, the first marriage being in 1920.

I am thinking it may have been a cremation - no living or deceased family member went to her funeral, her first born my granddad was born to another man out of wedlock and once he found out her lies in it all cut her out of his life and wasn't aware she had died until he saw it in the paper, he is now deceased and never spoke of her or went to the funeral

She had another child a daughter to her first husband Thomas Rogan ( Nora ) and my granddad lost touch with his half sister - on checking probate in 1959 after her death her daughter Nora is not mentioned so presume there may have been a fall out there also

You may have to try the Parks & Cemeteries dept of the local Council giving them the details from the death cert.They may charge a search fee.

She isnt showing on the website site Deceased Online .

It is always possible too that it may have been a cremation .

Look for the nearest cemetery........using google

........then get in touch and ask if they are able to carry out a search.

I suppose you are certain that she was buried, and not cremated

worked on my tree since 2006 and have finally found a death for my great grandmother - hard women to pin down - date of death 2/12/58 at 5 Dixon Drive Wharncliffe Side Sheffield

Ethel May Warren

Now need place of burial

Have all other records for her including Probate
Any help appreciated
