Hi Flip,

Thank you for the information. It is very difficult to read and understand but so far I have not had any luck finding who I am looking but will keep on searching.

Have you tried familysearch - they are not indexed, but they have Croatian church books 1516-1949, may be worth a try

Hi Marie,

The death was of a Croatian so would need to be able to access Croatian records. Thanks for the offer of the lookup anyway.

Hello Irene, was the death that of a British national or a Croation subject?

If the former then give details of the person and we could look on the overseas deaths.

Have you checked Consular records

The death may have been registered at the Consulate.

IF it was a military death then try those too

Hi
Has anyone been successful in purchasing a birth/marriage or death certificate from Croatia. I have a death in Sucuraj, Hvar which I would like to obtain a death certificate for. The date of death was 1926.

Thanks in advance.
