Im still on the case to look for their Marriage as well as parents names etc I thought that they mite have come over with them. I know sometimes its happened in another part of my tree so i just wanted to double check.

The marriage between Peter Woods and Fennell produced children whose names do not appear in your family's 1881 census return

Check the IGI

Sorry, Sophie, no records of that sort were kept (they still aren't) - Ireland was part of the UK, just like Scotland and Wales.

No such records exist

There have never been records of travel between Ireland and the UK mainland

Hi Everyone,

Im trying to find my 4x Great Grandparents & famly that were from South Dublin. There names were Peter & Maria Woods (nee Fennell?) havent found a marriage yet but they likely would have married around 1860's in Dublin, both born around 1840's. Im trying to find any shipping records that show them moving over to England around 1874 give or take a year or 2. They would have gone to the Liverpool Docks i pressume since they lived there since they had a daughter there a year later. They would ahve been travelling with their children: Nicholas, Margaret, James....and whoever else they were with im not sure but im looking to find out if anybody else came with them.

Would anybody be able to help?

Many Regards,

Sophie
