Might have to do that. I have Margaret mcgilorays fathers name and mothers first name but not Johns. Its a bit of a confusing family. My mother in laws maiden name is actually Elizabeth Malcolm Drummond Hunter then she married George Malcolm. Unfortunatley she is no longer with us.

Marriage cert will tell you the ages of both...plus the names of both sets of parents

SP has 1911 Scottish census, which should also prove informative.

I was going to do that but thought I would try and get some more information if I could first. It seems to be a very confusing family to do.

The best place to get the BMDS for your lookup would be Scotlandspeople. Unfortunately it is pay as you go. Best Wishes

Can any one help me with information on John Hunter (no birth date) born in Scotland. He married Margaret McGiloray (no birth date) 23 Dec 1923 Scotland.
They had four children Elizabeth (my mother in law) died in Australia Margaret born in 1924 Scotland, died in Australia. John and William Birth dates unknown.
