William King and Sarah Carter

Is anyone related to the following family, the above are my g/g/grandparents

William King born 1809 Henley Oxon
Sarah King nee Carter born 1807 Abingdon Berks
Mary Ann born 1840 Maidenhead Berks
Emma born 1844 Henley Oxon
Charles 1850 Henley Oxon
Also a grandaughter of William and Sarah - Sarah E born 1863

So as not to waste anyones time I do have all the census etc for this family but cannot find any details of a marriage between William and Sarah or any birth dates for either of them.


Any help or advice will be very gratefully received, thank you.

Have you checked 'Search All Trees' (top right of page, under 'Search') to see if any Members share names.

Well, the marriage would almost certainly have been before the GRO came into being............so look for Parish records.

Ditto for 'births'....................what you will actually be looking for will be baptisms

A tree on Ancestry says that William King's mother is Mary King born 1766. No other info other than William had siblings George 1821 and Samuel 1822. (This would make Mary 56 when giving birth to Samuel) Unlikely!
