Ashburner is a fairly common name in South Lakeland, which comprises Westmorland & North Lancashire after the boundry changes in 1973.

Ambleside Cumbria?

An advanced search of A2A for 'Ashburn* Solicitor* Ambleside' in the 'all these words' field and limiting it to the various Cumbrian Record Offices gives no results.

However limiting the search words to Ashburn* Solicitor* does give results one, for example, being Robert William Ashburner of Ulverston for 1906 record of an Admitance held in the Cumbria Record Office, Barrow.

I would suggest having a play around with it and see if you can find anything relevant.
