Kenneth Tooth. Peacefully at the Health Sciences centre, Kenneth Tooth passed away on March 18th 1995.,at the age of 75 yrs. he was predeceased by his Mother Rose and father John ,brother Sydney and Phillip and Sister in Law Dorothy. Ken will be lovingly Remembered by his wife Ethel,Children Daniel (pat) Rhonda (Brian) Auld,Raymond (heather),Roxanne (Wesley)Giesbrecht,Grandchildren,Adam, Danny, Kristin,Lindsey,Parker and Spencer. Brothers Ernie (Georgia) and Clifford (Shirley) of Toronto,Sister Margaret(Gordon). weir and sisters in Law Daisey and Anne and many other Neices and Nephews and friends Kenneth was raised in Charleswood and graduated Charleswood High School,he worked for T Eaton Company until the start of the War where he served Proudly for the Royal Canadian Navy in the North Atlantic. In 1950 he changed carers and entered the Auto industry working for Dickson motors,birch wood motors and eventually as a partner in Stadium Ford until 1972. This career gave him both success and fulfilment as witnessed by his lifelong friends and colleagues and customers until his retirement in 1990. Ken and his Wife Ethel operated Inter check Services where he enjoyed the many acquaintances and friends he met in the Hotel and entertainment industry . Ken was an avid curler , Golfer and Hobby farmer,his favorite time was spent with family and friends at his farm near Oak Hammock( Affectionately tooth acres) he had been a member of the Heather Curling Club,Assiniboine Golf Club for many years as well as being a lifelong member of the Masonic lodge where he devoted time as a volunteer driver for the Cancer society. If the success of a man is measured by being a good Husband Father and Grandfather and Friend then Ken left this life a champion.We have many fond memories and will carry them in our hearts always. Thankyou Dr Geddes and Dr Drexler and staff for there care and kindness. Funeral services will will be held on Wednesday 22nd March at 10.30 am at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 4000 Portage ave,Internment will follow at brook vale cemetery .
