Sharon Report 2 Jun 2013 10:15

I have been doing my family tree for about 5 years now, but have hit a wall on finding my G grand father...Nathaniel James Feast, I have found his birth, and when he married and a couple of times census's, from what family have told me, he just left, it would of been after 1908 as his youngest son was born then, and my g grand mother re married thinking him dead in 1917, but no one heard from him after he left.
the details I have are D.O.B 6th Oct 1881
parents Richard Feast and Ann Willis
Born Faversham Kent
Brotheres and Sisters, Elizabeth, Susannah, Thomas, Beatrice, Richard and Gimmah.
Wife...Daisy Harris
Married 1902
Children Thomas, Richard and Fred, a daughter Rose who died young
Work Cement labourer sittingbourne kent
found on the 1891 and 1901 census

If anyone can help me tell me where I could find anything. I have looked into the army ie WW1 on in deaths etc, even if he went abroad, but nothing.

Thank you

Sharon Feast

Hi Sharon.
An Ancestry tree has another child Daisy born 1910? Is that yours?
ADDED it's obviously correct as all of them are together in a workhouse 1911. No sign of Nathaniel though!

Hi Jan - I would say that the Daisy born 1910 is hers as Daisy Snr. is in the Union Workhouse on 1911 with children Thomas, Richard, Frederick and Daisy .

She claimed to have had 6 children - 5 still living, so we have another one somewhere who is not in the Workhouse with them?

Have had a look on Scotland's People - nothing on a free search.

No mention in the newspaper archives.
