Does anyone know which cemetery I would likely find my ancestor. He died 1892 and the certificate says the death was in the sub-district of Everton South.

Thanks

Yvonne, if you want to give his name and age I'll see if there's anything on the parish records on Ancestry.

His address was 52 Shakespeare Street. I've looked for cemeteries, burials, etc., on line but haven't had any success.

Thanks MarieCeleste. His name is Thomas Farrer and his death cert says he was 39 when he died. I have his birth cert which gives his birth as 26 Nov 1853.

Unfortunately, nothing coming up in those collections. Also tried the British Newspaper Archives, just in case. Sadly nothing.

one of the most common burial grounds around then was the Necropolis otherwise named Low Hill Everton as the churchyards of many city churches were full.

I looked for a burial for a long time for one of mine and eventually an announcement in found it in the Liverpool Echo

the cemetery closed in 1896

Good morning, and thanks all for trying. I thought it was a long shot but worth a try.
