Have you any idea if she had any siblings?

If you are sure the marriage is correct, then you could buy the certificate to see father's name and occupation. It should also give the names of witnesses who may be related.

I've found her now,her father was a Henry Copson given as born in Shelby Yorkshire in c 1875.

I think the one I spoke of is the correct one Welford may well be the place she was born though the birth was registered in MH.Welford is at the most only some seven miles from MH.

Yes William I can look BUT if you are looking for an Ivy Copson in Welford Northamptonshire This can be quite different from an Ivy Copson in Market Harborough

I am looking for the parents of an Ivy Kathleen Copson whose birth is given in 1905 in the Market Harborough District of Leicestershire.I think she is almost certainly the Ivy Copson in the 1911 Index whose birth is given as Welford Northamptonshire in 1905 and said to be living in Market Harborough.Can anyone find the 1911 entry please?
