I wonder if this could be John Parker in the 1911 census. The birthplace given is wrong but he says he was born Ashton which is where his grandfather was born in the 1901 census record. Perhaps he didn't actually know that he was born in America. Oldham registration district is where Lottie was living in 1911 too:- |

Lots of John Parkers, so any findings for him will need to be confirmed with the marriage cert. as probate doesn't give his occupation. |
