i am trying to find the birth details of my late grandmother,Emily Lamb.according to the 1911 census she was born in Aston,Birmingham in 1900,but i cannot find any reference to the birth details anywhere or on any site. All i know is that her father was George Lamb b Burton on Trent in 1859,and she married Frank William Holder in July 1928.She passed away in 1958.Can someone throw some light on this please? |

There is an Emily Spence born March Q 1900 in Aston but then she would have been 11 yrs old in 1911 (census says 10 ) and yet can't find her in 1901 |

This could be a possibility if Emily was a middle name:- |

No middle name on marriage record, but not to say Louisa Emily wasn't her |

I think that given the age, birthplace and occupation it's the same George Lamb on the 1901 and 1911 immediately above. I'd say Emma/Emily are the same child and the issue of his first marriage to Kezia. Annie is the 1 child born from his marriage to Isabella. |
