I don't know what goes wrong but when I go to the record office and check every church in West Ham, it doesn't come up. Ive looked on two separate occasions and I cant find the entry. So things like witnesses etc,, I cant find out :-(

Hi Julie,

If you google 'Sealey/Bures St. Mary' you will find quite a few sites which may be worth looking at. There are some posts which you have made but, there are several others which may be helpful. There is a Paul Sealey who is connected to Colchester Museum - probably a link to your family..... :-D

Does any kind soul have a Times Newspaper subscription online and can look up a wedding announcement for me

My grandparents had a top hat and tails wedding in April 1924 but cannot find out anything about it or a marriage cert but old relatives know it took place. Have no photos of it either. Would have been London possibly Stratford or possibly Stoke Newington
Bride was Lily Maud Sealey born 1902 Bures St Mary
Groom was Sidney Lane born 1895 Stoke Newington. He was well to do, she
wasn't.
I assume wedding announcement could have taken place a few months before the actual wedding.

any help very greatfully received thank you
