I haven't been working on my tree for a while . as I kept getting stuck. My ancestors are Richards and Thomas , so you can imagine the problems but I'm having another go. .Is there anywhere online where I can find records of people buried in the same grave . I have traced my great great grandmother .She died on Oct 10 1894 Age 34 . Her name was Margaret Thomas .She died in Oldcastle Bridgend and is buried in Coity St .Mary . According to the family , her husband George and a young daughter Ann,possibly about 8 years old .are in the same grave . . But I cannot find the records for them. I don't have a plot number and can't get to Coity at the moment. I have the wedding certificate .They were married in 1883 which means George was born in 1855.According to the census he was from Swansea. I found a few George Thomas's but not buried in Coity . He possibly died before 1901 as their children are livng with their grandmother on the 1901 census . |

Maybe the staff at Bridgend library would be able to help with Coity records. |

Thanks for the reply . I will have to wait until after the holiday to contact Bridgend library. . I have traced relatives in maesteg cemetery ,but I had a plot number so they could look them up. .I don't have a plot number for Coity.but maybe they can find it. |

An alternative would be to ask advice from Church ministers or staff. |

I replied here this morning but it's vanished. Hi Susan, that is the correct family . I think the record for George that Chris found is the more likely . Will check with the registry office after the holiday and if it's the same plot number I'll know they are together . Thanks for the help. |
