Born 13 Aug 1855 Melbourn Cambs, married Margaret nee Foxhall in Stepney 1877. In 1883 he appeared at Thames Magistrates' Court to answer a summons by his wife seeking protection from him on the grounds that he wished to take the family abroad (she obviously did not wish to go.) Protection was not granted. He had claimed to be the mate on a ship but does not appear in the Master's and Mates lists. |
