Totally free.
I downloaded my online tree to my laptop using PAF(Familysearch) and uploaded to Ancestry about September last year.
It is the best thing that I have ever done,
I use both Ancestry and Mundia at the same time.
I must confess it would be easier to have a subscription but I cannot afford it.

Thelma, does that not require taking out a sub to Ancestry? (Correct me if I'm wrong).

In case you cannot make contact.
Have a tree yourself, on Ancestry,which includes Ethel May.
Providing you do not turn off hints then the photos will be available to you.

At the top of the tree page next to Tree name is there not a brownish/dark coloured box that says ...owner plus name?

click on that to send a message

Hello Gillian, if you don't have access to Ancestry then you can search and view public trees on their sister site Mundia http://www.mundia.com/gb/

You can also contact tree owners directly. (Ancestry doesn't display users email addresses - they use a message system similar to GR's).

You have to register to use Mundia but it's completely free.

I have come across photos of Ethel May Ellwood 1883-1946 and her mother Selina Brooks in the scanned documents section. Could someone please let me know if there is a name & email address of the person's family tree.
